My Little Free Library

Little Free Library front and back

I painted this with acrylics. Over 600 hours was put into planning, designing, and painting the house. It officially lives in the North Charles Co-Op Garden, on Howard St. and 21st St. in Baltimore City. The concept is "give a book, take a book". Little Free Libraries are popping up in communities all over the U.S., and in Europe now, too! I am honored to have contributed to the initiation of the LFL program for Baltimore, thanks to The Village Learning Place.

Titled Found, its dimensions are 3 ft. tall, 2 ft. wide, and 2.5 ft. deep. It holds about 150–175 books.
